The Stars Girls Field Lacrosse House League continues to grow each year. The season starts with stick skills clinics in April and we move to weekly games from mid-May to the end of June on Tuesday nights. This year’s program will see 2 Divisions – “Under 11” (ages 7-10: Born 2001-2004) and “15 and Under” (ages 11-15) Born 1996 -2000). House League events are on Tuesday Nights at McCowan District Fields (north of St. Clair East, south of Eglinton, in between Brimley and McCowan). We provide “Try-it Nights” throughout the January to the end of March time period. These are generally Tuesday nights and locations and times will be announced in the months to come. Sticks and Balls are provided for newcomers. We require the girls bring a mouthguard to wear during all on-floor activities. Come back to this web site closer to that time for more info.
Girls Field Lacrosse is a relatively inexpensive sport. You will need:
- A girls field lacrosse stick
- A mouthguard
- Soccer Cleats for outdoor activities
- Proper clothing depending on the conditions
- A water bottle
- A good attitude and the desire to learn and have fun!

Hi everyone
Tyke and Intermediate teams, we missed you, hopefully next year you will be there with us.
On behalf of all the Stars Executive, thank you to each team that participated in the Kingston Tournament, what an amazing group of people, on and off the floor. It was alot of work, but it was so worth it. Each and every team played their games with respect and represented the organization in a way that made us very proud to be associated with the Stars. To all the parents thank you all for being so supportive and making this first for the Stars organization a large success off the floor as well as on.
To all the managers and coaching staff, what can I say but amazing, your time, dedication and love of this great sport shone through at this tournament, thank you each and everyone for all your hard work in making this such a great success.
Congratulations to our Midget, Bantam and Pee Wee 2 team even with a rough time on the floor you came out smiling and representing Stars Lacrosse with class and remember you are only just beginning the season, you will keep getting better and better, never give up. You have the magic already and that is great coaching, and loving devoted parents.
To our Novice team, congrats for going to the finals, you gave your all, but it just wasn't meant to be. What an amazing tournament you had, and it will just keep getting better and better.
To our Pee Wee 1 Team, thank you for giving the Stars Rep Program their first ever Tournament Championship, congratulations boys and coaches, you made us very proud.
I'm going to quote a T-shirt ( with a twist of my own) that I saw at this tournament as I think it truly says it all:
